Becoming-
2019
Developed from my work series in 2018: Seam-biosis, I expressed the becoming as body transformation through abstract connections of heterosis, hybrids, androgyny to speak about sex, life, and death as life cycle to recreate new meanings from similarities in various layers, visible and invisible: forms, shapes, functional or ornate, imagination, emotion, meanings from culture/artificial and nature of symbolic/anti-symbolic. I question the controllable and uncontrollable binary oppositions between humans and the nature of interwoven lives. Through connecting things by their similarities and singularities, I hope viewers' imaginations guide them individually to continue making their own meanings.
