Seam-biosis: Seem-biosis? Sin-biosis? Symbiosis?

2018

This series is about the relationship between nature and human civilization. Nature seems weak compared to the control and manipulation done by humans. But can we really draw so clear a line between the two?

In my works, I want to show how everything is related. In nature itself, there is no definition, no classification, categorization, boundary or shackles imposed by human culture. There is no binary opposition originally until men defined it. To express this, I combined both natural and man-made materials: bone, screws, branches, shells, and I use bondage to heal with the bleeding part of the objects themselves to personify my works. but also iron and screws; connecting together and become diverse, vital of life and energy.
